Free to be crude

(Hanging washing on a lamp post in a public walkway.)

I know this sounds crude but I do really enjoy being in China now where one will not be imprisoned in a false presence of civility.

I feel free, in the social aspect, not the political aspect though. Where I can burp, I can slurp, I can pick my nose, I can shake my legs, I can spit, I can dress casually in most places, I can raise my voice in the public, I can smoke anywhere, I can sleep anywhere or sit anywhere and no one will bat an eyelid on me.

Who cares? Nobody does. Everyone is only concerned and busy with their own business and haven’t had time for anybody or anything else.
